Welcome to my online portfolio.

This portfolio covers some of my work from the last few years. It contains Product Design, Graphic Design and some Photography.

Design motivation

My design aesthetic is rather minimal, I like to produce designs that have a good balance between function and aesthetics. My designs are strongly influenced by the manufacturing process, materials used and cost.

I like to use materials for what they are, wood as wood, metal as metal and plastic as plastic. I believe the way the object was manufactured should be apparent, joins and materials must be part of the design. My products are paired down and have nothing hidden, what you see is what you get, simple and uncomplicated.

Designs influenced by fads become out dated I would like my designs to live forever.
